Terms of Service.

Last updated 16 July 2026. These terms cover enquiries made through this site and the conservation services the studio provides.

1. Agreement to these terms

By using this website or contacting Art Revive Studio to enquire about conservation work, you agree to these terms. They apply alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle the information you share.

2. What we offer

Art Revive Studio provides art restoration and conservation services — examination, condition reporting, cleaning, structural repair, and related treatments — for paintings, works on paper, antiques, and fine art collections. Nothing on this site is an offer to treat your work; it's an invitation to enquire. An initial photographic assessment is complimentary and carries no obligation on either side.

3. Assessments and estimates

Any impressions, likely options, or estimates we give from photographs alone are preliminary. A firm, costed treatment proposal is only given after the work has been physically examined in the studio, and no treatment begins until you have reviewed that proposal, asked your questions, and confirmed you'd like to proceed.

4. The nature of conservation work

Conservation is a careful, considered discipline, but it is not without inherent uncertainty — works of art vary widely in their materials, history, and condition, and some deterioration cannot be fully reversed. We will always tell you honestly what a treatment can and cannot achieve before we begin, and we follow conservation-standard practice: intervening only where genuinely necessary, and using materials that can be removed by a future conservator.

5. Your responsibilities

When you send us a work, or information about one, we ask that you:

  • Give us an honest, accurate description of the work and its condition, to the best of your knowledge
  • Confirm that you own the work, or are authorised to act on the owner's behalf, before arranging treatment
  • Let us know about any known hazards (e.g. mould, pest activity, unstable materials) before the work arrives at the studio

6. Handling, insurance, and loss

Works accepted for treatment are handled with the same care given to museum objects. Arrangements for insurance during transit and while the work is in the studio will be agreed with you in writing as part of the treatment proposal before work begins — this is a specific written agreement made outside of this website, not a term implied by using the site.

7. Content and intellectual property

The text, photographs, and design of this site belong to Art Revive Studio, except where a client has retained rights to images of their own work and we display them with permission. You're welcome to share links to this site; you may not reproduce its content for commercial purposes without asking us first.

8. Limitation of liability

Beyond the specific commitments we make to you in writing about a particular treatment, this website and its content are provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Art Revive Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits our obligations under a signed treatment agreement, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes arising from them are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Terms agreed in writing for a specific treatment take precedence over this page for that treatment.
