Works on Paper
A particular specialism. Paper is fragile and unforgiving, and its conservation demands restraint, careful testing, and a deep respect for the sheet itself.
Our approach
Prints, drawings, manuscripts, and archival documents suffer in ways canvas does not — foxing, acidity, light damage, brittleness, and water staining. Treatment is gentle, staged, and always tested first in a discreet area.
Where appropriate, dry-surface cleaning, washing, de-acidification, and humidification are combined with fine tear-mending and conservation mounting, so the work is stabilised for handling, storage, and display.
