Structural Repair & Framing
When the support fails, the image is at risk. Structural treatments return paintings and paper to a sound, even tension, and house them safely for the long term.
Our approach
A slack, torn, or brittle support places constant stress on the layers it carries. Tears are mended, weak supports reinforced or lined, and works re-tensioned — almost always from the reverse, so the surface is never compromised.
Conservation mounting and framing complete the work: archival materials, appropriate glazing, and sympathetic presentation that protects the object while honouring its character.
